And so it came to pass, that the author who was struggling with which of the nine best ideas she had, should she focus on next? Got another great idea of which she cannot resist starting to write immediately and therefore forsook the others temporarily, yet again.
And may those ideas forever serve her still, although they are forsaken at present.
Aha, I have found a way in making the front bigger on the quick-post option without having to go into Microsoft word like usual.
Anyway, getting down to what I want to say; My gargoyle story seemed to be starting off good, but in the last 100 or so words I did yesterday I noticed it started to flop, typically when the dialogue was developing and I don’t like it. So, instead of doing the usual trick of deleting it and starting over again, I am going to suffer my readers into reading all drafts when they’re done so you all can help me decide which is the better piece.
Sound like a good idea?
I had an idea for a sci-fi but not sure where it would go. The idea was based around humanity living in a worldwide single leader dictatorship with advanced medicine, the dictator wanted full control of its residences so he organised for everybody to have all their limbs removed and replaced with mechanical body parts, so if there were ever any trouble with an individual a law enforcer could use a special gun to point directly at the limbs to stop them from mobilizing at a distance, rending the person completely disabled.
But personally I don’t think I’m smart enough to write sci-fi so I think I’ll stick with fantasy and let this idea fall on the wayside.
If my son found out he’ll never let me live this down, I really should write this story for him because he is absolutely in love with the idea of robots and machines.
