Too much is to be expected from the world in which we grow
Always have to make a use for everything we know
We cannot leave things be, nor care
For what we rip out the earth just isn’t fair
We take more than our share
Whilst other wisps of creatures, dine on meager scraps
Humans are racing fervently to get rid of this and that
If a creature seems more successful, just kill it, don’t let it go
For we don’t have our fair share, this is wrong you know?
Humans are destructive, the evidence is clear
Why do we rip apart the things that we hold dear?
This earth is dying, humanity’s the reason
Why do we carry on this earthly treason?
